You know what’s kind of beautiful?
In French, you don’t really say “I miss you.” You say “tu me manques,” which is closer to “you are missing from me.”
I love that. “You are missing from me.” You are a part of me, you are essential to my being. You are like a limb, or an organ, or blood. I cannot function without you.

School is almost over …
Weirdly, Im going to miss it. It’s like waiting for the last day of your jail sentence. You’re excited to be free, but being locked up is all you’ve known or what you’re used to that you don’t really know what to do with yourself when you’re out. I want to stay in school forever.
